During the Cricket season eight to sixteen year olds (boys and girls) from the village can take part in coaching on Friday evenings between 6:00 and 7:30 (approx). Sue Dodd, former England womens test player, assisted by existing players from the club and parents, coach all abilities and arrange fixtures against other local youth teams. The club has all the necesary equipment required, from harrow size bats to batting helmets.
Kempsford Cricket Club is commited to providing cricket equipment and facilities for the youth of the village, realising that they are the future of the club. We are also very keen to show that all abilities and ages can enjoy cricket at the village level - the way we play we can't claim to play just to win!!!!
