75 YEARS OLD IN 2007
(and still standing!)
KEMPSFORD VILLAGE HALL
How can we celebrate this vital village facility?
What has been done:
Courtesy of our Parish Council, we now have a lovely new kitchen. A suspended ceiling improves the look and warmth of the Hall, enhanced by newly painted walls and blue blinds. Storage space has been made available for the archiving of all Parish Council documents.
What needs to be done
-
Our priority is replacement toilets to include disabled facilities
-
Investigate the location and funding (which is available) of a permanent Post Office within the Hall
-
Paint the outside walls
-
General upkeep of the outside area.
-
We also need to attract new regular users to offset the loss of one of our previous substantial users
